This is such a cute dress! I’d like the tutorial to show how to line up the bust like it is. I love your blog and have suggested it to some friends of mine :) -Kay

Kay- Thanks for your Project Submission. For the extremely low price of $15.00, I suggest just buying it. The materials and time to make that dress would exceed $15.00. Matching up diagonal lines is very tricky, even to an experienced seamstress, especially since this material is a mix of thin and thick lines. I love the cut of this dress, but if you look closely, it may make one of your breasts look larger than the other, the thicker diagonal lines go up further on one of the breasts than the other, you want your breasts to look as symmetrical as possible! For my blog, I tend to recreate garments that are at least $70 +, so that my time and material costs don’t exceed the price of the garment. If you would like to try your hand at recreating a similar dress, I suggest buying a pattern, and picking out your own fabric, here’s a perfect pattern for this dress:

The best things about patterns like that, is they are easy to modify, you can add thicker trim, play with the length, etc. Hope this was helpful, and thank you for supporting my blog!
